2026 Youth Soccer: Practice, Teamwork, and Community

Reported May 23–September 23, 2026 program period

During the reported May 23–September 23, 2026 program period, AYSA reported 131 youth ages 4–14 participating in its soccer program. Sessions were held on Saturdays and Sundays and typically lasted two to two and a half hours each day.

The weekend sessions gave children recurring opportunities to practice soccer skills, work with teammates, and spend time with coaches. Parents, volunteers, and community supporters helped sustain the activities. AYSA’s public updates also acknowledge RAVE Foundation’s support for the program.

Practice with a community around it

Coaching, teamwork, and family involvement are visible parts of AYSA’s public soccer updates. The July 26 recap describes young people taking part on the field and thanks the parents and coaches who continued to show up for them.

Another 2026 soccer opportunity

Alongside the weekend program, AYSA’s July 2 update documented a visit to Soccer Celebration 2026 in downtown Seattle through an invitation from RAVE Foundation. Young people played soccer while families spent time together. The photographs below come from that outing.
